Wet Green Leaves

8-Week Integrative Somatic Intensive

A deeper therapeutic container for times when once-a-week therapy doesn’t feel like quite enough.

There are times in our lives when we may want more continuity, depth, and support than a traditional weekly therapy session can offer.

The Integrative Somatic Intensive is an individualized eight-week therapeutic container designed to create more space to stay close to what is unfolding—within your nervous system, your relationships, your body, and your life.

Rather than following a predetermined protocol, we’ll shape the eight weeks around you. Our work may draw from somatic psychotherapy, EMDR, craniosacral therapy, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy when appropriate, and other experiential or embodied practices.

Throughout our time together, we’ll also have brief points of connection between our longer sessions, creating a thread of continuity as the work unfolds.

What might the eight weeks look like?

We begin by identifying an intention for our time together and creating an individualized therapeutic arc.

Your eight weeks might include:

  • Somatic psychotherapy and nervous-system-oriented work

  • EMDR or deeper trauma processing when appropriate

  • Craniosacral therapy, with the option for extended 90-minute sessions

  • Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, with the option for extended 2-hour sessions when desired, medically approved, and clinically appropriate

  • Two 20-minute check-ins each week for grounding, presence, integration, and continuity

  • Intention-setting and integration practices

  • A conscious opening and closing of our time together, which may include simple ritual, drumming, sound, or other embodied practices

Some forms of work naturally unfold across multiple sessions. We may spend several sessions with an EMDR process, incorporate more than one ketamine-assisted session, or find that somatic psychotherapy or craniosacral work becomes the primary thread of our time together.

The exact shape of the eight weeks is not predetermined. We’ll create an initial direction together and continue listening for what is most supportive as your process unfolds.

Why a container like this?

There can be something powerful about consciously setting aside a period of time for change.

We begin our eight weeks by opening an intentional space around what you are wanting to explore, shift, grieve, deepen, or move toward. Together, we name an intention and create a container around the work—not with the expectation that everything will be resolved within eight weeks, but with curiosity about what may begin to move, organize, or reveal itself when it is given sustained attention, relationship, and space.

Throughout our time together, we listen for what is emerging and allow the work to take the shape it needs.

At the end of our eight weeks, we make space to integrate what has shifted, notice what is still unfolding, and consciously close our time together.

Depending on what feels meaningful and supportive for you, our opening and closing may include simple ceremonial elements such as intention-setting, drumming, sound, or other embodied practices.

Support between sessions

Sometimes meaningful therapeutic work continues moving long after a session ends. Something may surface on Tuesday that you're still living with on Friday. A new way of relating to yourself may need repetition before it becomes familiar. Deep experiential work may benefit from integration rather than simply waiting another week.

Throughout our eight weeks, we'll have two brief 20-minute check-ins each week. These aren't additional therapy sessions, but touchpoints—a place to arrive, notice what is present, reconnect with yourself and the work, and be accompanied for a few minutes in the space between our longer sessions.

The intention is continuity: allowing the work to have a thread that runs through our eight weeks rather than existing only inside the therapy hour.

Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy

Ketamine is not required to participate in this intensive.

For clients who are interested in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, we can explore during the intake whether incorporating a medicine session into the eight-week arc may be appropriate.

Ketamine requires separate medical evaluation and prescribing. If we decide to explore this option, that process can begin before the eight-week intensive starts. Medical approval and medication/prescribing costs are separate from this offering.

If ketamine isn't desired or appropriate, we simply shape the intensive using other forms of therapeutic work.

Beginning our work

If you're interested in the intensive, we'll begin with a complimentary consultation to connect, hear a little about what you're looking for, and see whether working together feels like a good fit.

From there, we'll schedule a 60-minute therapeutic intake ($185).

The intake gives us space to understand more fully what you're navigating and what kind of support may serve you. If the eight-week intensive feels like the right structure, we'll begin designing your individual arc together.

And if we discover that another form of therapy would be more supportive, the intake isn't lost—we can explore continuing our work together in another way.
